// what did you watch?

// Each week, on a Sunday, I hand the reigns of movie criticism over to you. Tell me what you saw at the Cinema or on DVD/Blu-Ray that either made your pants moist or your temperature sky-rocket due to its brilliance or whackness. If you’ve seen a movie, I want to know about it.

Your review doesn’t need to be sprawling epic like many of my reviews. it can simply be the name of the movie and a rating out of 5. It really is that easy. For example, White Chicks – the greatest movie ever made, 5/5.

This month, the prize will be the opportunity to have your review featured on the site. Plus if it’s really good perhaps we can make it a regular gig. Who could say no to that?!

The bar has been set. I look forward to your responses.

Thanks for writing.

// Wrap your eye balls around these clips from Super 8

Just so you know, I’m not watching these clips myself because with any film I have been looking forward to, I try to avoid the clips to make sure I get 100% of the thrills once sat in the cinema. However, if you would like a taster of some of the action from the epic JJ. Abrams/Stevie Spielberg upcoming movie, check them out below.

Let me know what you think, ideally without revealing what happens in them. Spank you!

Synopsis In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined. Directed by J.J. Abrams from his original script, the Amblin Entertainment and Bad Robot Production film is
produced by Steven Spielberg, Abrams and Bryan Burk. The film stars Elle Fanning, Kyle Chandler, Ron Eldard, Noah Emmerich, Gabriel Basson, Joel Courtney, Ryan Lee, Zach Mills and Amanda Michalka.
