// new images – The Avengers

// I’ve tried to ignore them… but they look great don’t they?

This being a particularly strong one.

With most film releases I like the hype and anticipation, but generally I stay away from on set pics, footage and leaked stuff to avoid tarnishing my experience of the final product. These images, however, really caught my eye and even though Chris Evans looks remarkably uncomfortable wearing his dorky CA costume, Renner and Johansson look freakin sweet. As you can see from the image above, Renner is a big fan of Scarlett’s costume.

I have re-evaluated some of my thoughts I had previously on the film, but with some many properties in one space, Whedon defo has his work cut out.

The new photos feature Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Captain America (Chris Evans) in full costume, check out the images in the gallery below. I think they were filming in Portland. Let’s go with that.

Synopsis: Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in “Iron Man,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Iron Man 2,” “Thor,” and “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Marvel’s The Avengers” is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.
